ACT: Accelerating the Commercialization of Technology (ACT) program

TEC has established the Accelerating the Commercialization of Technology (ACT) program to assist technology transfer offices throughout the University of North Carolina system with identifying market opportunities for discoveries coming from their labs. Currently focused on activities in NC State University’s Office of Technology Transfer, ACT hires its students as interns to perform technology evaluations and market assessments. ACT provides an additional opportunity for HiTEC students to engage with both the research and business communities in the Research Triangle area and beyond.
